My name is Averill Pessin and I am a writer living in Toronto.
I debated competitively in university, won the North American championship in 1999 and have extensive experience with public speaking.
Originally, I had planned to pursue political speechwriting after university, but life and babies and new dreams often lead us in different directions.
Instead of aspiring to write political pieces, I now prefer to write passionate ones.
It is a huge compliment to me, when a couple chooses me to write the once-in-a-lifetime words they will say to each other on that day, meant to symbolize and communicate their commitment through the remainder of their days.
